IHS Markit Introduces New Service

IHS Markit, a provider of information and analytics, said early Tuesday it introduced a new service to help investment firms comply with the upcoming regulatory requirements in Europe.

The cloud-based product enables investment firms to outsource the key data classification processes required for compliance with MiFID II’s RTS 28, which requires companies to publicly report top five trading venues by asset class. “Using a propriety calculation engine designed for RTS 28, the service will categorize trades, tabulate data according to the statute and host required reports on a public website,” the company said in a statement. “The solution also offers detailed analytics on demand and through regular scheduled reports.”
